What's it for?
The Extended Validation (EV) certificate is the most secure certificate. Like OV certificates, they verify both the domain and the owner’s identity but include additional information that increases security.
Once obtained, website visitors will see a green padlock and bar on the address bar where the company name appears.
Who can request it?
A natural person acting on behalf of and representing a legal person with whom a contractual relationship is established, specifying the scope of the representation.
Who can be a subscriber?
The subscriber of a certificate is the natural or legal person who owns the certificate associated with the web server that is linked with a private key.
What documentation do I need?
- An identification document
DNI, NIE or passport
- Power of attorney accrediting the representation in force
- You must also identify the category of the entity
- Private organization.
- Government entity.
- Commercial entity.
- Non-commercial entity.
How do I request it?
- Face-to-face identification

- Qualified signature
The Terms and Conditions contract is sent by email and the applicant and/or subscriber has to sign it with an advanced signature supported by a qualified certificate.
