PSD2 CORPORATE SEAL (QSEALC) CERTIFICATE

What's it for?

The PSD2 Corporate Seal (QSealC) Certificate  is a qualified certificate that secures financial transactions, in accordance with current European regulations: Directive (EU) 2015/2366 on payment services in the internal market.

It is equivalent to the company seal since it verifies the identity of the Payment Service Providers (PSP) in their electronic transactions, so that their information is protected against possible attacks. In this way, the person receiving the digitally signed or stamped data can be sure of who signed the data and that the data have not been modified.

Who can request it?

This certificate can be requested by the legal representatives of the legal entity, i.e. the subscribing entity.

Who can be a subscriber?

The subscriber or holder and responsible for the use of the certificate will be the legal entity, i.e. the Payment Service Provider.

¿Qué documentación necesito?

  • Identification document: DNI, NIE, PAS.
  • Power of attorney accrediting the representation in force.
  • The name of the domain(s) you wish to authenticate (DNS/CSR).
     
  • Private organization.
  • Government entity.
  • Commercial entity.
  • Non-commercial entity.

How do I request it?

With appointment and after filling in the web application, you can go to the EADTrust offices located in Calle Alba 15, 28043 Madrid, with the documentation.

The Terms and Conditions contract is sent by email and the applicant and/or subscriber has to sign it with an advanced signature supported by a qualified certificate.
